My name is David, and I’m a bespoke maker of watch straps and small leather goods. I work by hand, using traditional techniques and high-quality leathers sourced from renowned tanneries in Italy and the United States. Each piece I make is crafted to order, with careful attention to detail and a strong focus on fit, durability, and design. In addition to my work at the bench, I also run two YouTube channels that reflect my interests and the broader story behind what I do. Saving-Time is dedicated to the restoration of vintage watches, a way for me to bring neglected timepieces back to life while exploring the history and engineering that went into them. Wasting-Time, on the other hand, is where I share my leatherworking process, documenting the making of custom straps and other projects from the workshop.

2) References

Inspiration photos are welcome. A quick sketch is even better.

3) Materials & details

Leather, colour, stitching, edges, hardware—kept simple and tasteful unless you want otherwise.

4) Quote & timeline

I’ll confirm price and lead time before any work begins.

5) Build

I’ll share progress photos when it makes sense, and we’ll keep decisions clear.

6) Delivery

Carefully packed and shipped to you. I’ll confirm shipping options up front.

Pricing & lead time

Commission pieces are priced according to materials, complexity, and finishing time. Most projects require a deposit to begin. Lead times vary — I’ll confirm an estimate once I understand the brief.
